Latenz
Self-hosted uptime and latency monitoring

Latenz is a self hosted monitoring tool. You add a URL, it pings it at an interval you choose and shows you in a chart how long it took, and if something goes down or comes back up it sends you a notification through Apprise. Every monitor has these settings:
| Setting | Values |
|---|---|
| Method | GET, HEAD or POST |
| Interval | 10 seconds to 24 hours |
| Timeout | 5 to 120 seconds |
I built it in about ten days in March 2026 with Nuxt, Bun and SQLite. Most of the time went into the little things, like picking the time range of the chart, showing the peak latency instead of just the last value, live updates over a websocket and a docker image so it’s easy to run yourself.
Then I remembered that im lazy and decided that I don’t want to further maintain this project as im happy enough with uptime kuma.
